Terms of use
Effective July 19, 2026 · Applies to gettagtime.com and the Tag Time iOS beta
These are the ground rules for using Tag Time, which is operated by TenFifty LLC ("we"). They're written to be read, not skimmed past. Using the app or the website means you accept them. Questions: hello@gettagtime.com.
The short version
- Be decent. Don't use Tag Time to harass people or break the law.
- What you create stays yours — you give us permission to host and show it, which is what the app is.
- This is a beta: things will change, break, and occasionally be reset.
- Use common sense in the physical world. A pin on a map is not an invitation to trespass, and never chase a tag into an unsafe situation.
Who can use Tag Time
You need to be at least 13 years old. The beta is invite-only through Apple TestFlight, and Apple's TestFlight terms apply alongside these.
Your content
You own the tags, photos, video, and audio you create. By posting them, you give Tag Time a non-exclusive license to store, display, and distribute that content within the service, according to the visibility you chose for it — that license exists so the product can function, and ends when you delete the content or your account (except where content was already shared with others, e.g. a re-shared public tag). Only post content you have the right to post.
Acceptable use
Don't use Tag Time to:
- harass, threaten, or defame anyone, or reveal someone's private information without their consent — including using tags to expose where a person lives or can be found;
- post illegal content, or content that sexualizes minors in any form (instant, permanent ban and reporting to authorities);
- trespass, or encourage others to enter places they're not permitted to be;
- impersonate people, spam, scrape, or interfere with the service's operation.
Moderation
The app has report and block tools — use them. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms, at our judgment, with or without notice. Curated historical content is editorially maintained by Tag Time and may be corrected or removed at any time.
Beta reality
Tag Time is pre-release software. Features may change or disappear, downtime will happen, and in rare cases beta data may be reset. We'll treat your content with care, but don't keep your only copy of anything precious inside a beta app.
The physical world
Tag Time points at real places, and GPS is imperfect. Locations may be off by tens of meters. You are responsible for your own safety and conduct: obey signage and law, don't use the app while driving, and don't enter unsafe or restricted areas to reach a tag.
No warranty
The service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent the law allows. To the same extent, our liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us to use Tag Time — which, during the beta, is nothing.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States — where TenFifty LLC is registered — without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Changes
If these terms change materially, we'll update this page and the effective date, and tell beta users directly.
